After 2 months ‘works’ as husband and wife, we didn’t really have a honeymoon trip so we plan to go on our honeymoon on Labor Day break @ cherating, Pahang. But, with no room reservation, no plan to do what – imagine what will happen while that day is a public holiday for all -its all gamble.
1st day : 9am from puchong, papa driving all the way to kuantan. Nice journey with mama’s chatting and sleeping (:P). arrived at kuantan town around 11.00am and we have town tour for a while. It’s our first time here. After lunch at one of shopping complex (can’t remember), we start finding the hotel/resort to check in. surprisingly, there’s no available room to book. First we go to ranting beach resort at Kg. Cherating Lama – full house up to today. All resort/chalet around the village is full!. Whoa…papa already panicked, mama hardly thinking on the next plan. Then we decide to find available room at kuantan town. Then we down back to kuantan. Its already 7pm and papa is already tired and hungry. We go hotel to hotel, budget room even “ayam” hotel, there is no room available since its already night and people might think that we are couple “try to find a Private place”.
Then, when already 10pm, papa already exhausted, mama keep in control, try to find a restaurant to have a dinner. We go to Kg. Sepat (or kuala, tanjung or anything sound sepat) to have ikan bakar. Its very disappointing when service is tooooo slow. After dinner we decide to go to Telok Cempedak, the nearest place we can go rather than back to cherating. Luckily mama already standby the tent (atok punya) for emergency case and it’s worth it!. We decide to just camping at Telok Cempedak beach. Papa felt unconfident since he did not have any experience in outdoor xtvt. But, when he seeing there are few tents along the beach, he a bit cooling down. We walk a while in the crowd and find the place to open the tent. With bags, and only 1 blanket. Papa lay asleep since he was too tired driving all day. Unfortunately, it was heavy raining and wind during mid night. Mama tries to keep the tent in place and cover up using canvas. And we slept in wet all night. In the morning, we woke up in amaze, wonderful scenery when we open the tent…really is wonderful and beautiful moment in early morning. Mama wished to wake-up in the morning with this feeling everyday in my life. We enjoy the moment when the sun rise up slowly..Play on the beach and have picture to remember the moment.
Forgot already what happen last night that have being a nightmare to papa (hihi). Then we packing and ready, we move to cherating and stop to breakfast in middle of road. Makan roti canai. Not bad it tasted. At cherating, we go back to Ranting Beach Resort and we are so lucky that man told us that there are available room on the beach view side. Its double excited for us! 1 night at that resort and we come back on the next day. Before that, we found the Keropok Lekor shop near the Kemaman, Terengganu and bought a few for family.

Hmm…to long huh.. but there is a message in this story, “sentiasa bersabar dalam menghadapi dugaan, pasti sesuatu yang baik akan berlaku” and its happen to us! Cheers!
